Karl Morris - Native Austinite, Supply Chain Mgmt Expert, and Pitmaster
Karl Morris is one of the few true Austinites left in the best city in the world, Austin Texas! The most important part of Karl’s life are his two beautiful children, Madison and Jack. He enjoys playing and watching sports and once ate 67 chicken wings at Pluckers before washing them down with 106 ounces of ice cold beer. Karl’s favorite teams are first and foremost all of the Texas Longhorn teams, but include the Cowboys, the Braves, and the Celtics. A Texan that likes the Braves and the Celtics??? He grew up watching the Braves and Celtics with his late Father and has never stopped cheering for them through the years.
In 2011 Karl started a career at Apple in supply chain management working with various resellers around the country. Outside of work Karl also found a new love and one that has lead to many late nights…COOKING BARBEQUE!!! This new love replaced his love for the game of golf, in 2013 he lowered his handicap to an all time low of 5 and now cannot hit the ball out of his shadow. In 2012 he started learning more about the art of cooking barbecue and entered several cook-offs. Although many of these events have ended up with nothing but empty pockets and bloodshot eyes he has learned a lot and looks forward to the opportunity to join the BBQ4GOOD mission!

Lance Speck - Dad, Barbecuer, and Entrepreneur
For more than 20 years, Lance served in a variety of sales, product, services and executive roles in the software industry. Though he will tell you that what made everything so fulfilling through all of the booms, busts, IPOs and acquisitions is the amazing people that he met along the way.
In 2015, it was time to stay closer to home and do something that he was more passionate about, so he left the software industry and started Bohemian Barbecue with his wife, Cindy. With recent events like the Wimberley floods, the Bastrop fires, and the Garland tornados, it seemed like an easy path to start a non-profit that could leverage the resources of Bohemian Barbecue for non-profit purposes in time of need, and thus the birth of BBQ4Good.
Feed those in need!
